Strawberry Blonde is a compact variety of marigolds (Tagetes) that attracts attention with its unusual coloring and dynamic flowering. The plant height is 20–25 cm, and the bush width is 15–20 cm, making it an ideal choice for small flower beds, balcony boxes, or as an accent in compositions with other summer flowers.
The variety's feature is the ability of flowers to change their shade three times during the flowering period. Initially, the petals have a bright yellow tone, then transition to terracotta and can reach saturated reddish shades. Color change depends on temperature: under cooler conditions, the change proceeds more slowly, but the contrast remains pronounced; in a warm climate, the color changes faster, but the shades become less vibrant.
Strawberry Blonde is easy to grow in open ground and in pots. It is frost-resistant, so it can delight the gardener until the first cold days of the year. Thanks to its compactness and bright changing coloration, this variety blends beautifully with other summer plants, creating picturesque compositions in flower beds, along paths or fences.
