Table Beet VITAMINKA

Practical insights on growing «Vitaminka» beetroot

When selecting a variety for bunching sales or industrial processing, agronomists prioritize the balance between early maturity and marketability. «Vitaminka» by Agrofirma Poisk is a classic example of breeding focused on stable results rather than just visual appeal in catalogs.

Vegetation and Harvesting Dynamics

This variety responds exceptionally well to proper soil preparation. The roots grow uniform and feature a deep dark-red color, which is a primary requirement for retailers and processors. Based on operational experience, here are the key factors:

• Bunching Versatility: The variety is perfectly suited for early harvesting. The foliage is strong enough to allow for both manual and mechanized harvesting without significant losses.
• Operational Efficiency: Even maturity ensures that you don't face large discrepancies during machine passes, which is vital for large-scale production.
• Market Quality: The dark-red pigment remains vibrant post-harvest, and the lack of coarse rings makes the root crop highly attractive to the end consumer.

Processing and Commercial Value

«Vitaminka» behaves reliably here. Its dense texture handles transport well, and its intense pigment makes it a go-to choice for manufacturers of vegetable mixes and canning industries. The variety is not demanding; it responds well to standard irrigation and nutrient programs and shows good resistance to cracking during excess moisture periods.
