Table Beet Komandor

Table beet of the COMMANDER variety is a mid-season and high-yielding variety with a maturity period of 125-130 days. The root crops have a cylindrical shape, are easily pulled from the soil and weigh from 180 to 340 grams. The flesh is dark red with a burgundy tint, has no white veins, and is distinguished by its juiciness, tenderness, and sweet taste. The absence of a core makes the beet particularly attractive to consumers.

This variety is characterized by high resistance to heat, drought, and diseases, which ensures a stable yield even in complex climatic conditions. The yield is from 4.1 to 4.6 kg per square meter. Thanks to good transportability and storability, the root crops maintain their taste and commercial qualities throughout the winter, which makes the variety ideal for winter storage and processing.

Beet COMMANDER is widely used in cooking for preparing borscht, salads, juices, and canning. With late sowings in early June, the root crops turn out to be particularly suitable for long-term storage. This variety combines ease of cultivation with high nutritional and medicinal value, making it a popular choice among gardeners and consumers.
