Ruby Queen

Ruby Queen is a medium-late variety of table beet, distinguished by high yield and attractive taste qualities. The roots have a cylindrical shape, a mass of 300 to 450 grams, and a rich dark pink or burgundy flesh color. The beet is juicy, tender, and sweet, making it versatile for consumption both raw and in cooking. Young plants up to 30 days are suitable for use in baby salads, where their bright, anthocyanin-rich leaves give dishes an appetizing appearance and additional vitamin value.

This beet variety is resistant to diseases, particularly bolting, and also has good transportability and resistance to rot, which facilitates its storage and transport. Ruby Queen is well suited for growing in open ground at an optimal temperature of 15 to 23°C, however, the seedlings are sensitive to frost. For successful cultivation, soil fertility and moisture are important, as well as regular pest and weed control throughout the vegetation period.
