Bonel

Table beet of the Bonel variety is a medium-early Dutch selection variety from the company Hazera, with a vegetative period of 110-115 days from emergence. This variety is versatile and suitable for cultivation in various climatic regions of Ukraine, as well as on different soil types, especially preferring nutrient-rich and loose loams. Bonel beet is resistant to bolting and capable of quickly recovering from adverse conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers.

The fruits of Bonel beet have a round shape, medium size with a diameter of 9-12 cm and weight of 250-300 g. The skin is smooth and dark red, and the flesh has a rich red-bordeaux color without radial light rings. Dry matter content reaches 16%, and sugar content — 12%, providing high taste quality and pleasant aroma. Yield of this variety is about 5-5.5 kg per square meter, with fruits exhibiting high marketability and uniformity, making them attractive for market sale, long-term storage, and processing.

The Bonel variety is recommended for cultivation with a seeding rate of approximately 8-10 kg of seeds per hectare. It is ideal for open ground and is highly versatile. Due to its characteristics, Bonel beet is in demand both for early harvests and for processing, making it a profitable and practical choice for agricultural production.
