HA 26 PR is a high-yielding, early-maturing sunflower hybrid developed by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad (Serbia). It is characterized by a vegetative period of 100-102 days and a plant height ranging from 160 to 180 cm. The hybrid is distinguished by its high oil content in seeds, reaching 49-52%, making it attractive to the oilseed industry. The head diameter is 23-26 cm, and the average mass of 1000 seeds varies from 75 to 82 g, indicating large fruitfulness and high seed quality.
One of the key features of HA 26 PR is its high resistance to sunflower midge (rust) of various strains from A to G, as well as to fungal diseases such as downy mildew, rust, Phoma, and white mold. The hybrid also shows resistance to drought, lodging, and shattering, ensuring yield stability under various climatic conditions. Thanks to these qualities, the sunflower is suitable for cultivation in Forest-steppe, Central and Southern steppe, as well as in dry steppe zones.
For cultivating HA 26 PR, modern agrotechnologies are recommended, including the use of herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl and CLEAN FIELD or SUMO technologies, which contribute to effective weed control and yield increase. The hybrid provides a yield of up to 38-55 ц/га, confirming its high productivity and economic efficiency for agricultural producers.
