ES NOVAMIS CL — an early-maturing, simple hybrid sunflower of moderate-intensity type, specifically developed for the EuroLighting technology. The vegetative period ranges from 95 to 110 days, ensuring early maturity and efficient use of agroclimatic conditions in various regions. Plants reach a height of approximately 165 cm, and the head diameter is about 23 cm. The 1000-seed mass equals 62 grams, indicating the hybrid's large-seed nature.
The hybrid exhibits high yield potential, reaching 4.5 t/ha (45 c/ha), and high oil content in seeds — 47-48%. ES NOVAMIS CL demonstrates excellent adaptability and stable yield performance across various soil-climatic zones, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe of Ukraine. It features rapid early growth, which facilitates successful adaptation and development during the initial vegetative stage.
Special attention has been given to the hybrid's resistance to major diseases and stress factors. ES NOVAMIS CL has high resistance to fusarium, sclerotinia (both heads and stems), verticillium, false powdery mildew, and rust (6 races A-F). Additionally, the hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance and lodging resistance, ensuring reliable and high-quality yields even under challenging growing conditions. The Clearfield technology enables effective herbicide application, enhancing crop protection.
