HA 26 OP sunflower is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid specifically adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine. The vegetative period ranges from 106 to 109 days, allowing for a stable harvest in steppe and forest-steppe zones. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm and possess a well-developed root system that ensures efficient moisture consumption from the soil and promotes moisture retention due to good leaf coverage, which also reduces weed growth.
HA 26 OP hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including white mold, downy mildew, phoma, rust, sunflower moth, and various races of sunflower rust. Disease resistance is assessed at a high level, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses and minimizing the need for chemical protection. Additionally, the variety is resistant to ragweed, sowthistle, and other dicot weeds, facilitating crop care.
The yield potential of HA 26 OP sunflower reaches 55 centners per hectare with a recommended sowing density of 55,000-60,000 plants per hectare. Oil content in seeds varies from 47 to 49%, and proteins from 16 to 18%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality oil. Growing according to SUMO technology is recommended, which allows maximizing the hybrid's potential and ensuring stable yield and quality indicators.
