Mooglli CL sunflower is a high-quality early-maturing hybrid developed using the Clearfield system, providing resistance to imidazolinone-based herbicides. This hybrid is highly adaptable and plastic, enabling successful cultivation in various climatic conditions, including dry and hot steppe and forest-steppe regions. Mooglli CL exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases such as downy mildew, rust, and Phomopsis, as well as to eight strains of Sclerotinia (A–N), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and enhancing production stability.
Plants reach a height of 160–165 cm and have a vegetative period of 92–95 days, allowing the hybrid to mature in October. Mooglli CL seeds are large, gray with a white stripe, approximately 4–5 times larger than standard seeds, facilitating cleaning. Each packet contains 10 seeds. Sunflower heads can reach a diameter of up to 50 cm, contributing to high yield potential. Oil content in the seeds ranges from 44 to 52%, making this hybrid particularly attractive to the oil-processing industry.
Mooglli CL exhibits resistance to lodging and lacks susceptibility to head shattering, facilitating harvest and reducing losses. Thanks to the SmartOR technology, the hybrid receives additional genetic protection, enhancing its resilience to stress conditions such as temperature fluctuations and drought. The mild peanut-like flavor of the seeds makes them appealing not only for industrial use but also for human consumption. Overall, Mooglli CL is a reliable and high-yielding choice for farmers focused on obtaining quality raw materials and stable yields.
