Sunflower HA NS 26

HA NS 26 Sunflower is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid developed by the Serbian Institute of Agriculture NS SEME in Novi Sad. It is suitable for cultivation in various climate conditions of Ukraine, including steppe and forest-steppe zones, due to its high drought resistance and adaptability. The hybrid's vegetation period ranges from 100 to 109 days, allowing for a stable harvest in a short time. Plant height reaches 160-180 cm, which contributes to good development and harvest formation.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential up to 55 c/ha and high oil content in seeds—ranging from 47% to 52%. Additionally, the seeds contain a significant amount of proteins—16-18%, which increases their nutritional value. HA NS 26 is resistant to major sunflower diseases such as white mold, downy mildew, phoma, sunflower moth, and rust. The hybrid also shows resistance to various strains of sunflower wilt (wilts), providing additional protection and harvest stability.

For hybrid cultivation, modern technologies are recommended, including treatment with the herbicide Granstar and the SUMO technology, which contributes to effective weed control and improved agrotechnical indicators. A powerful root system ensures high drought resistance and resistance to stress factors, making HA NS 26 an optimal choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable sunflower harvests.
