Sunflower HA 48

HA 48 is an intensive vegetative hybrid sunflower variety with a maturity period of 105 to 109 days. Plants reach a height of 160 to 175 cm, and the head diameter ranges from 20 to 24 cm. The hybrid boasts high yield potential, averaging 38 to 42 centners per hectare with a potential up to 55 c/ha, while oil content in seeds reaches 51%. Thanks to an intensive start of development, this sunflower quickly accumulates biomass, contributing to high yield formation.

HA 48 exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including rust, downy mildew, downy mildew, dodder (A-G+), Phoma, white and gray mold. Additionally, the hybrid shows high tolerance to shattering and drought, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. HA 48 seeds are genetically protected against the group of sulfonylurea herbicides, allowing cultivation using the Granstar Sumo technology with herbicide application at a dosage of up to 50 grams per hectare.
