HA 26 OL

HA 26 OL Sunflower is a mid-early simple hybrid of Serbian selection designed for cultivation using herbicide technology based on tribenuron-methyl, such as Grazon. The vegetative period ranges from 106 to 109 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions, especially in southern regions. Plants reach a height of about 178 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 26 cm, which facilitates maximum filling and eases harvesting thanks to the semi-upright inclination of the head.

The hybrid boasts a high yield potential of up to 55 c/ha and a high oil content in seeds ranging from 47% to 50%, making it attractive for sunflower oil production. Due to its powerful root system and high drought tolerance, the hybrid can withstand adverse weather conditions and stress factors. The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare in the zone of sufficient moisture and 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in the zone of insufficient moisture.

HA 26 OL Sunflower exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, downy mildew, white rot, and sunflower moth, as well as to dodder (resistance group A-E). Additionally, the hybrid shows resistance to broadleaf weeds such as mugwort and sorrel, which eases maintenance and enhances herbicide application efficiency. All these characteristics make this hybrid a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
