Sugar beet MANATEE SMART

MANATEE SMART is a mid-season diploid sugar beet hybrid designed for cultivation in a moderately continental climate and suitable for all regions within the sugar beet-growing zone. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and good root sugar content, making it an effective choice for agricultural production. Root placement above the soil surface is typical, facilitating harvest.

MANATEE SMART seeds exhibit resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as rhizomania, cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rots. This significantly enhances cultivation reliability and reduces crop losses. High juice purity and easy root harvestability make this hybrid especially attractive to farmers seeking quality and efficient production.

The hybrid is part of the innovative CONVIZO® SMART cultivation system, which combines the use of a specific herbicide, CONVIZO, with a herbicide-resistant hybrid. This system reduces the number of applications to 1-2 times per season, substantially lowering energy requirements and increasing overall sugar beet cultivation efficiency.
