Description Vorskla
Sugar beet variety Vorskla is a diploid hybrid with high yield and sugar content potential, reaching up to 17%. The root has an oval-conical shape and is embedded in the soil approximately 85%, contributing to good resistance to adverse conditions. The leaf rosette is medium-sized, dark green, and spreading. This variety has medium sugar content and belongs to the medium-early maturity group, making it suitable for mid-term harvesting.

Vorskla exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including rhizomania and root maggots, with a resistance rating of 8 points for each of these traits. Additionally, the variety shows good drought and cold tolerance, as well as good storability, facilitating easier storage of the harvest. Recommended growing zones include the Polissia and forest-steppe regions, where the variety performs best.

Modern agronomic methods are used for growing Vorskla hybrid seeds, including proper placement of mother beets and seed parents in crop rotation after optimal predecessors, maintaining spatial isolation between plantings, and applying optimal rates of organic and mineral fertilizers. Seed processing is conducted on high-capacity cleaning and drying complexes, ensuring high seed quality and maximizing yield.
