Sugar beet SR768

High performance under high disease pressure

Managing sugar beet crops is always a challenge, especially when disease pressure hits mid-season.

Superior plant health

CP768 is a true performer when it comes to resistance against Cercospora leaf spot and powdery mildew. During a wet and humid summer, it holds up significantly better than standard varieties, which keeps the foliage green and healthy for as long as possible. This extra time allows for better sugar accumulation, and frankly, it saves a significant amount of money on fungicide passes.

Harvesting and root characteristics

Mechanized harvest is where you really see the value of a well-bred hybrid. The CP768 has a specific root shape—narrow-conical transitioning into a cylindrical form—that makes it incredibly easy for the harvester to lift. Because the roots are consistent and large, there is less root breakage and less dirt tare, meaning the machine runs smoother and faster.

• Top-tier resistance to Cercospora and powdery mildew.
• Optimized root shape for clean and efficient harvesting.
• High tolerance against various root rot types.
• Consistently large root size with reliable field emergence.
