The SR768 variety is medium-maturing, with a maturity period of about 120 days, allowing for mechanized harvesting. The root is elongated-cylindrical, weighing up to 700 grams, with a white color. The leaf rosette is of medium size, dark green, and the root is buried in the soil approximately 85%. Sugar beet of this variety is characterized by high yield and high sugar content, making it in demand for sugar production as well as for culinary purposes, such as making borscht and kvass. SR768 has resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, root rot, and cercosporosis, as well as to adverse conditions including drought and cold snaps.
