It is recommended for harvesting at medium maturity, allowing optimal use of agronomic potential. Sugar beet is a warm-loving and heat-tolerant crop, with an optimal growth temperature of 20-22°C, although photosynthesis effectively occurs even at temperatures above 40°C. The plant requires adequate moisture from early growth stages, especially during the intensive root growth period in July-August. Due to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing water from depths up to 2.5 meters, sugar beet tolerates drought well. Seeds germinate at temperatures from +4 to +17°C, with emergence time depending on soil temperature. In autumn, the crop can withstand frosts down to -5°C without damage to sugar accumulation. Additionally, sugar beet SR767 is an important sugar-producing crop in the temperate zone, containing 18-20% sugar in modern varieties. Besides its sugar content, it is also used as a fodder crop: 100 kg of roots provide 25 feeding units and 1.2 kg of digestible protein, while the same amount of tops provides 20 feeding units and 2.2 kg of digestible protein. This makes the variety versatile and economically advantageous for agricultural production.
