Beet sugar variety Tarim is an important sugar-bearing crop of the temperate zone, distinguished by high sugar content — from 18 to 20%. This variety increases yield by at least 10%, making it attractive for agricultural production. Moreover, Tarim is characterized by higher sugar content in roots and improved storage periods, ensuring longer preservation of product quality after harvest.
A distinctive feature of the Tarim variety is its root system stimulation, which promotes better absorption of nutrients from the soil. This enhances the plant's overall resilience and increases its productivity. Additionally, Tarim possesses fungicidal and protective properties, reducing the risk of disease and supporting healthy plant development without the need for intensive chemical treatments.
Tarim sugar beet is also used as a forage crop. In 100 kg of roots, there are 25 feeding units and 1.2 kg of digestible protein, making it a valuable source of nutrients for animals. The foliage of this variety provides an additional 20 feeding units and 2.2 kg of digestible protein, expanding the possibilities for utilizing the plant in agriculture and animal husbandry.
