RUP 354 SSS

The sugar beet hybrid RUP 354 SSS is a high-tech, normally-sucrose plant developed through the joint efforts of breeders from Belarus and Russia. This hybrid is distinguished by its good raw material quality and productivity comparable to analogues from Western seed companies, making it promising for large-scale cultivation. The coated seeds, with a fraction size of 3.5-4.5 mm, possess high germination rates of at least 95% and germination energy of at least 90%, ensuring reliable and uniform crop development.

RUP 354 SSS has undergone trials at the State Variety Testing Station of the Republic of Belarus, where its high productivity and quality were confirmed. The hybrid was also subjected to in vitro laboratory research, including assessment of technical qualities and phytopathological expertise, which revealed resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as Cercosporosis, Fomosis, Ramulariosis, Alternaria, Fusarium, and Rhizoctonia. These characteristics make the hybrid a reliable choice for agricultural producers seeking stable yields and high-quality raw materials.

At present, the hybrid has not been registered for specific regions, but has received permission from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus for use for the 2023 harvest, confirming its readiness for implementation in agro-technical practice. Due to its high indicators and disease resistance, RUP 354 SSS is a promising hybrid for increasing the efficiency of sugar beet production in the region.
