Sugar beet RUP 354 SSS

Stable yields without excessive chemicals

Stepping into the field with the RUP 354 CCC hybrid from SoyuzSemSvekla, you immediately notice the uniformity of the crop. This is a normal-sugar type (NZ) that behaves predictably across various soil types, which is critical for an agronomist in an unpredictable climate. The main advantage of this hybrid is its "immunity." While other varieties start showing stress from infections mid-season, this one remains robust and healthy.

Protection that saves the budget

The biggest headache when growing sugar beets is leaf diseases and root rot. RUP 354 CCC significantly reduces the costs of fungicide applications. In field practice, it demonstrates excellent resistance to a wide range of pathogens:

• Cercospora and Alternaria — classic threats that are managed here by the plant's genetic resistance.
• Root rots (Fusarium, Rhizoctonia) — the hybrid maintains a high stand density even during prolonged rains.
• Phoma and Ramularia — the foliage stays healthy until harvest, ensuring consistent photosynthesis.

For the operator, this means the spraying schedule doesn't turn into constant crisis management. Fewer chemicals mean higher profit margins at the end of the season.

Efficiency and Yield

The root crop has a regular shape, which significantly facilitates the work of a beet harvester. Minimal losses during digging and excellent cleanability from the soil are another reason to choose SoyuzSemSvekla. At harvest time, you get not just tonnage, but stable sugar content consistent with the NZ class. In terms of logistics and delivery to the sugar factory, this hybrid is a workhorse that doesn't let you down at the most critical moment.
