Beet sugar variety FD WINNING is a heat-loving and drought-tolerant crop, optimally developing at 20-22°C, but capable of effective photosynthesis even at temperatures above 40°C. Seeds germinate within a wide temperature range from +4 to 17°C, with emergence time depending on temperature and varying by 10-15 days. The plant has a well-developed root system capable of absorbing moisture from depths up to 2.5 meters, ensuring drought resistance. The highest water requirement occurs in July-August, during intensive root growth. Sugar beet can withstand frosts down to -5°C without damage, although lower temperatures may halt sugar accumulation. The FD WINNING variety has a medium-length growing period of about 142 days and high yield — up to 681 centners per hectare. Root mass reaches approximately 910 grams, with sugar content of about 15.8%. Roots have an oval-conical shape and are buried 85-87% into the soil, enhancing their protection and preservation. Leaf rosette is medium-sized, dark green, and spreading. The variety exhibits good storability and resistance to diseases, drought, cold, and bolting, making it a reliable choice for mechanized cultivation and harvesting. FD WINNING is recommended for cultivation in moderate climate regions such as Jambyl Oblast and suits medium harvest schedules. Thanks to its high sugar content, resistance to adverse conditions, and good adaptability, this variety ensures stable, high-quality yields, making it profitable for agricultural production.
