Sugar beet SKMS 12169

Yield Potential and Reliability of СКМС 12169

The sugar beet hybrid СКМС 12169, developed by the Pervomayskaya Research Station, is a triploid variety designed for growers who prioritize a balance between root weight and sugar content. Classified as an NZ (normal-sugar) type, this hybrid exhibits strong adaptability to diverse soil and climatic conditions, making it a reliable asset for modern farming operations.

Key Advantages and Field Performance

The primary strength of СКМС 12169 lies in its genetic tolerance to Cercospora leaf spot. In regions where high humidity and temperature fluctuations accelerate pathogen development, this trait is invaluable, as it helps reduce the overall pesticide load by decreasing the number of required fungicide applications. The combination of large root size and triploid genetics ensures robust yields even under intensive farming practices.

Why Choose This Hybrid?

This hybrid is an optimal solution for large-scale agricultural enterprises and farms aiming for high tonnage while maintaining stable sugar levels. СКМС 12169 is known for being forgiving during the cultivation process, acting as a dependable workhorse in various climates. Producers value this hybrid for:

• Fast growth rates during the peak root mass accumulation phase.
• Cost savings on crop protection due to natural disease resistance.
• Consistent raw material quality, suitable for extended storage in heaps.
