RUP 363 SSS

The sugar beet hybrid RUP 363 SSS was developed jointly by Russian and Belarusian scientists within the framework of cooperation between LLC 'SoyuzSemSvekla' and RUP 'Experimental Research Station for Sugar Beet'. This hybrid is successfully cultivated in the enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and is undergoing state variety testing, which confirms its high agronomic indicators and resistance to diseases of the foliage. Disease resistance is one of the key advantages of this variety, ensuring crop stability and raw material quality.

RUP 363 SSS is characterized by a cylindrical root shape with a smooth surface, which facilitates harvesting and reduces soil adhesion. The average weight of the root is about 700 grams, and the vegetative period lasts up to 120 days. The root system is taproot, penetrating to a depth of 2-2.5 meters, which contributes to good plant nutrition and resistance to adverse weather conditions, including heat and cold. The foliage rosette is semi-spreading, the leaf blade is medium, entire, and moderately corrugated.

Roots are used in the food industry for preparing borscht and kvass, as well as for technical purposes — for the production of sugar and molasses.
