Noricum

Noricum sugar beet is an early hybrid with high sugar content, reaching up to 19%, ensuring high root crop yields of up to 90 tons per hectare and an average root weight of about 800 grams. This variety features a spherical, slightly flattened root shape with high pigment content, making it not only productive but also attractive to consumers. Due to its qualities, Noricum sugar beet is suitable for both direct consumption after harvest and long-term storage.

The Noricum hybrid is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including dry periods, which enhances its resilience and reliability in cultivation. It exhibits resistance to diseases such as rhizomania, cercospora, powdery mildew, and anthracnose, significantly reducing the risk of crop losses and the need for intensive chemical protection.

For optimal cultivation, it is recommended to plant in rows with a spacing of 20-40 cm between rows and 5-10 cm between plants within the row. The recommended seeding rate is 1.3 seeding units per hectare.
