HANI

Hani® sugar beet hybrid is a single-shoot diploid hybrid on a sterile NZ-type basis, developed for high yield of refined sugar. The root has a wide-conic or oval-conic shape with a deep immersion into the soil up to 85%, which contributes to its stability and quality. The average root mass is about 660 grams, and the yield reaches 468.7 centners per hectare. Sugar content in roots varies within 18.5%, ensuring high sweetness and processing efficiency.

The plant of medium height differs in resistance to main diseases and pests, including root rots, cercosporosis, and rootworm damage, which significantly reduces yield losses and improves its quality. Thanks to these characteristics, the Hani® hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, such as the North Caucasus, Central, Middle Volga, and Penza region, which confirms its adaptability to different climatic conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by medium ripeness with a vegetation period of about 150 days, which allows effective planning of agrotechnical measures. Quality indicators include a white color of the root and petiole, as well as a green color of the petiole, which indicates a high level of breeding and variety traits.
