Sunflower "Universal" is a linoleic-type hybrid developed using HTS (Herbicide Tolerant Sunflower) technology, ensuring high productivity and early yield. This hybrid exhibits resistance to ragweed (A–G) and tolerance to diseases such as frogeye, sclerotinia, and false powdery mildew. Seed oil content is 52–55%, providing additional economic benefit upon product sale. Due to its early maturity (104–106 days), "Universal" is suitable for cultivation in regions with short growing seasons, as well as for early and late sowing. Sunflower seeds "Universal" show high drought and stress tolerance, making the hybrid flexible regarding sowing dates and adapted to various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Steppe, Polissia, and Forest-Steppe. The planting unit contains approximately 150,000 seeds, enabling sowing areas from 2.2 to 2.5 hectares. Seeds are treated with thiram 480 and metalaxyl M for disease protection and improved germination. High seed viability and potential yield up to 57 centners per hectare make this hybrid attractive to farmers seeking stable and high-quality harvests. Sunflower is one of the key oilseed crops in agriculture, and hybrids such as "Universal" play an important role in ensuring high production levels. Using hybrid seeds allows farmers to achieve stable yields, high oil content, and resistance to adverse factors including diseases and drought. Thanks to careful selection and adaptation to Ukrainian climatic conditions, "Universal" demonstrates excellent performance on various soil types and in different cultivation zones, contributing to the economic success of agricultural enterprises.
