Belino

Belino sugar beet is a single-stemmed diploid hybrid on a sterile NE-type base, developed for high yield and quality sugar. This variety has a medium growing period — from 135 to 145 days — allowing effective use in various climatic conditions. Belino is recommended for cultivation in the Central, Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and West Siberian regions of Russia, indicating its good adaptation to diverse soil-climate zones.

The hybrid exhibits high disease resistance, particularly to rhizomania, as well as low susceptibility to root rot and cercosporosis. Powdery mildew occurs at a moderate level, which minimally affects yield and quality. Additionally, Belino has high beet juice purity, positively impacting the technological properties of raw material in sugar production.

Root yields in different regions range from 521 to 551 centners per hectare, with sugar content varying from 17.5% to 18.1%. Sugar harvest can reach 96.3 centners per hectare, making this hybrid attractive for agricultural producers focused on maximizing yield and product quality.
