Sunflower NK Ferti is a mid-season high-oleic hybrid developed by Syngenta, characterized by high yield and seed quality. This hybrid features oil content of 50–52% and high oleic acid content — up to 92% — making it especially valuable for producing oil with improved properties. The average early growth energy ensures stable yield formation.
The NK Ferti hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, white and gray mold, rust, sclerotinia, as well as to downy mildew strains A, B, C, D, and E. This comprehensive protection contributes to yield stability and reduces losses under adverse weather conditions. Seeds are treated with the fungicide and insecticide Cruiser, further enhancing their protection against pests and diseases.
NK Ferti is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, except areas with extreme drought, as the hybrid has moderate drought resistance. It performs especially well in the Northern Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. Yield potential reaches 5 tons per hectare, equivalent to approximately 50 centners per hectare, making this hybrid a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sunflower yields.
