Rivolta sugar beet is a high-yielding hybrid intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including Polesie, forest-steppe, Krasnodar Krai, and Kursk Oblast. This single-stemmed diploid hybrid on a sterile N-type basis is well-adapted to climatic conditions and is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region. Root mass varies by region and ranges from 598 to 850 grams, ensuring high yields — 50 to 80 tons per hectare. Rivolta is characterized by high sugar content in roots, reaching 16.7–18%, which provides significant sugar harvest — approximately 83.8–84.4 centners per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates good resistance to major sugar beet diseases, such as rhizomania, cercosporosis, rizoctonia, and powdery mildew, although some regions report moderate infection levels of cercosporosis and root rot. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is suitable for long-term storage without loss of market and technological characteristics. Rivolta sugar beet is recommended for industrial cultivation to achieve high sugar yield and stable harvests. Its use allows effective resistance to common diseases, reducing the need for intensive chemical protection and contributing to economic efficiency of production. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various agro-climatic zones, making it a universal choice for farmers focused on quality and stable sugar beet production.
