Sugar beet of the Bilozersky CS-32 variety is a high-yielding technical crop widely used for sugar and animal feed production. This variety is characterized by high sucrose content in its roots, making it particularly valuable for the sugar industry. Seeds are packaged in 200 g units, which is convenient for sowing on various plots.
The crop is warm-loving and heat-tolerant, with an optimal temperature for growth and development of 20-22°C, although photosynthesis proceeds successfully even at temperatures above 40°C. Sugar beet requires adequate moisture, especially during the intensive root growth period in July-August. Thanks to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing moisture from depths up to 2.5 meters, the plant exhibits good drought resistance. Seeds germinate at temperatures from +4 to +17°C, with emergence time depending on soil temperature and varying from 10 to 15 days. In autumn, the crop can withstand frosts down to -5°C without damage to sugar accumulation.
The variety is distinguished by high sugar content and yield, confirmed by sugar content of about 17.2% and yields up to 533 centners per hectare. Additionally, Bilozersky CS-32 exhibits resistance to diseases and bolting, ensuring stable and high-quality yields. These characteristics make this variety an attractive choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sugar beet yields.
