Sugar beet Belozerkivs'kyi odnosemennyi 45

Genetic Potential and Productivity

«Belotserkovskaya odnosemyannyy 45» is a product of the O.K. Kolomiyets Belotserkovskaya Experimental Breeding Station, designed for stable sugar accumulation. The variety is of the Normal-Sugar (NZ) type, which serves as a reliable standard for regional soil conditions. The technical core of the NZ type lies in the plant's balanced metabolism: it avoids over-expending energy on excessive vegetative biomass, focusing the photosynthetic apparatus on sucrose synthesis.

Technical Specifications and Agrotechnical Advantages

• Monogermicity: A critical engineering feature that reduces labor costs. By eliminating the need for thinning, farmers can maintain precise plant density from the moment of sowing, which is essential for maximizing harvest potential.
• Sugar Content 17–18%: This level is achieved through a stable accumulation process, provided that nitrogen fertilizer regulations are followed. The variety produces predictable raw material quality for processing plants.
• Adaptability: Developed by the Belotserkovskaya Experimental Station, this variety is well-adapted to local climatic fluctuations, maintaining productivity even during temperature shifts in the root development phase.

Successful cultivation requires strict adherence to optimal sowing dates. Given the genetic specialization for sugar content, maintaining proper micronutrient levels (specifically boron) is recommended to prevent heart rot. This practice ensures that the variety reaches its full 18% sugar potential and maintains the required juice purity for industrial efficiency.
