Spinach EL PRADO

Reliable Yields in Any Weather

The EL PRADO spinach hybrid from the Swiss company Syngenta is a professional choice for farmers aiming for consistent, high-quality production throughout the season. Due to its genetic flexibility, this hybrid has proven itself successful in both the fresh produce market and professional processing sectors.

Agronomic Advantages

A key argument for selecting EL PRADO is its powerful immune complex. Under high-humidity conditions, where the risk of fungal infections increases significantly, this hybrid demonstrates high resistance to downy mildew (peronospora). This allows for a reduction in fungicide applications, which is essential for environmentally conscious agricultural practices.

• Color and Marketability: The vibrant green leaves maintain their excellent market appearance during storage and transport.
• Operational Efficiency: The plant features an upright habit, simplifying mechanical harvesting and minimizing crop losses.
• Climatic Adaptability: High resistance to environmental stress factors allows for flexible planting dates, ensuring a continuous supply of produce throughout the season.

Market Reputation

Syngenta has always prioritized innovation, and EL PRADO is no exception. This hybrid holds a strong position in European fields thanks to its combination of stable yields and predictable development. For growers, this translates to minimized risks and a guaranteed result even in challenging conditions. Utilizing this hybrid allows farmers to maintain production profitability while offering consumers a premium product with excellent culinary characteristics.
