Spinach HYDRUS

Hydrus is a medium-maturity spinach hybrid intended for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings and home cooking. The plant forms a semi-erect leaf rosette of medium size, with a height ranging from 10 to 20 cm. The leaves have a wide-elliptical shape with a flat edge and a rounded tip, possess medium blistering and weak lobing. Leaf coloration varies from green to dark green, and their surface is glossy, giving the plant an attractive appearance. The petiole is of medium size, and the mass of one plant is about 9 grams. Hydrus spinach is distinguished by late bolting, which allows for a longer retention of market appearance and leaf quality. The yield of the hybrid is 1.7-1.8 kg per square meter, making it quite productive for home cultivation. The plant is easy to grow and has high resistance to downy mildew, reducing the risk of diseases and increasing the reliability of the harvest. This spinach variety is recommended for use in home cooking due to its soft taste and luxurious leaf texture. Hydrus is suitable for various culinary purposes, including fresh salads, preparing side dishes, and other dishes where the tender and rich taste of spinach is valued. The originator of the hybrid is the company NUNHEMS B.V., which guarantees high-quality seeds and stability of the variety's characteristics.
