Spiros F1

Spinach Spiros F1 — an early hybrid variety with a vegetation period of about 44 days, developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 2.5-3.5 kg per square meter, and versatility in cultivation, both in open and protected ground, including balcony beds. Spiros F1 is adaptable to cultivation conditions, possesses good stress resistance and disease immunity, making it suitable for year-round cultivation.

The plant forms a rosette with dark green, round leaves on short petioles. The leaves are succulent, crisp, and have an excellent taste, making spinach ideal for fresh consumption, hot dishes, as well as freezing and vacuum packaging. During prolonged storage, the greens retain their commercial and nutritional qualities, extending its freshness compared to other varieties.

For successful cultivation of Spiros F1, it is recommended to select sunny areas with well-fertilized and moist soil. Due to its characteristics and high vitamin content, this hybrid is in demand both on the fresh produce market and for processing and dry freezing, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
