PG 59081 is a sorghum hybrid characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 0.8-0.9 meters, have an open panicle and orange grain, indicating high drought tolerance and the ability for the grain to lose moisture quickly at maturity. The hybrid is distinguished by its early maturity period, which allows for use in early and late sowings, including sowings in cold soil. It is resistant to lodging, diseases, and pests, ensuring stable yields even under stressful conditions and with dense plantings. PG 59081 is characterized by high starch content (up to 73%) and protein (about 13%) in the grain, making it versatile for various applications. The hybrid is suitable for grain, starch, and alcohol production, and can also be used in the food and feed industries. Due to genetic stability and wide adaptability, this variety is successfully grown in various regions, including southern, central, and northern Ukraine, provided optimal sowing dates and planting density are observed. For sowing, a rate of 180-220 thousand seeds per hectare is recommended, which ensures optimal productivity and harvest quality. PG 59081 is distinguished by high yield — the potential is about 100 centners of grain per hectare. Seed packaging is done in paper bags, which is convenient for storage and transportation. This hybrid is a promising choice for agrarians seeking to obtain a stable and high-quality sorghum harvest with high economic return.
