Description RAGT GGIVRI
RAGT GGIVRI is an early-maturing grain sorghum hybrid intended for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including areas with sufficient and insufficient moisture, as well as arid regions. The plants reach a medium height of 100 to 130 cm, which facilitates harvesting and provides resistance to lodging. The hybrid is characterized by a semi-dense head and red grain color; moreover, the seeds do not contain tannins, which positively affects product quality.

RAGT GGIVRI sorghum is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and drought, with ratings of 8 and 9 points respectively, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in complex agro-climatic conditions. Protein content in the grain is at the level of 8 points, indicating high nutritional quality. Seeds undergo treatment with preparations Maxim XL and Concep III, which ensures protection against diseases and pests at the early growth stages.

The hybrid is recommended for sowing with different densities depending on the growing zone: from 110 to 130 thousand plants per hectare under drought conditions, up to 190-230 thousand in areas with sufficient moisture. The hybrid's potential yield is high, confirmed by trial results in the North Caucasus region, where the average yield was 33.7 centners per hectare, and the maximum reached 48.4 centners per hectare. Due to its agronomic characteristics and adaptability, RAGT GGIVRI is a promising choice for grain production.
