ARABESK grain sorghum is a medium-maturing hybrid with very early emergence and high yield, reaching an average of 32.7 centners per hectare. The plant has a height of up to 110 cm and a loose panicle about 30 cm long. The 1000-seed mass varies from 26 to 33 grams, indicating large and high-quality grain. Maturity group — very early, allowing the hybrid to be used in various climatic conditions with an active temperature sum of about 1790°C.
The hybrid has high starch content — about 78%, as well as high protein levels (over 10-11%). The grain texture is balanced: 50% glassy and 50% floury, ensuring universal applicability. Tannin content is very low (<0.14% dry matter), positively affecting the quality of feed and food products. ARABESK is resistant to major diseases such as fusarium and stem rust, and also exhibits excellent resistance to apical sterility and lodging.
For sowing, the recommended seeding rate is from 140,000 to 270,000 seeds per hectare, depending on moisture and irrigation conditions, seed burial depth — 2-4 cm, row spacing — 30-70 cm. Optimal soil temperature for sowing — above 12°C. Due to its agronomic and climatic characteristics, the ARABESK hybrid is widely used in feed production, food industry, and bioenergy, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.
