Description ZELANDIA
ZELANDIA is a sorghum hybrid with white grains, distinguished by early maturity and high adaptability to various growing conditions. It possesses resistance tonicosulfuron, lodging, fusarium, and other major diseases, ensuring yield stability even under stress conditions. The plant features a loose-panicle inflorescence and a dwarf type, facilitating ease of agronomy and reducing damage risk.

The hybrid grain contains a high starch content—around 78%, as well as over 10-11% protein, making it versatile for use in the food industry, feed production, and deep processing. Thanks to high compensatory ability and drought tolerance, ZELANDIA is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, as well as various farming technologies.

The recommended sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture levels: under insufficient moisture—160–200 thousand seeds per hectare, with sufficient moisture—200–240 thousand, and on irrigated lands—240–280 thousand seeds per hectare. A compact panicle shape and resistance to shattering ensure high productivity and quality yield.
