Description BUSY
The 'Busy' home plum is a medium-sized tree with a bush-like form and a spreading, drooping crown, reaching a height of 2.5-3 meters. Young shoots have a green-brown color, while old branches are gray. Leaves are oval and dark green, and flowering begins in May and lasts about a week. The tree begins to bear fruit in the third year after planting and is characterized by good resistance to diseases and pests, as well as the ability to recover after frost.

The plums of the 'Busy' variety have medium ripening time, an oval shape, and weigh up to 20 grams. Their coloring combines a green base with an orange overlay, while the flesh is yellow-green, juicy, and of medium density. The taste is sweet and sour with a slight tartness, and the pit is small and easily separated from the flesh. Due to their dense structure, the fruits withstand transportation well and remain fresh for a long time.

For successful cultivation of the 'Busy' variety, planting on fresh, well-drained, and fertile soils with a neutral or weakly alkaline reaction is recommended. Since plums need calcium to form the pit, acidic soils should be limed, and organic and mineral fertilizers should be regularly applied. The variety is distinguished by high yields – up to 14 kilograms of fruits can be collected from one tree, which are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for making preserves and desserts.
