Description SINEOYAYA
The Sineoyaya plum variety is a universal variety bred in Tatarstan, at the GNA Tatar State Research Institute of Agriculture. This variety was obtained by crossing Eurasia 21 and Tatar Dessert and is characterized by an early ripening period occurring in July–August. The tree is of medium height, reaching about 3 meters, is fast-growing with a dense crown. The variety is sun-loving and moisture-loving, withstands winter frosts and drought well, but is sensitive to early frosts. Pollination by other varieties is required for fruiting, as Sineoyaya is self-sterile.

Sineoyaya plum fruits are of medium size, oval-shaped with dark blue skin and characteristic brown subcutaneous spots. The fruit mass is about 20 grams. The fruit taste is sour-sweet, making them universal for various methods of use. Sugar content in fruits reaches 5.5%, acidity is 2.44%, and vitamin C is 8.8 mg per 100 grams. Due to these characteristics, the plum is suitable for both fresh consumption and for making compotes, jams, and jellies.

The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 4.4 tons per hectare, and good resistance to diseases and pests. Moderate infection is observed with clusterosporiosis and the action of the slug moth. Rust and spotting infections are also possible, and among pests include moth, aphids, fleas, and codling moth. The plum withstands transportation well, making it convenient for commercial cultivation. It is recommended to grow on loamy, podzolized, and chernozem soils.
