Spinach Tuocan F1 is a hybrid variety developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan, characterized by early maturation and versatility in cultivation. The plant forms a compact medium-sized rosette with upright, evenly arranged oval-shaped leaves. The leaves are dark green, thick, and slightly blistered, with a smooth surface, giving them an attractive appearance and ease of use. Due to its slow bolting even in hot weather, this variety is suitable for cultivation throughout the entire growing season, including summer and autumn. Spinach Tuocan F1 exhibits high resistance to downy mildew and recovers well from temperature fluctuations, but it does not tolerate frost or strong drought. For successful cultivation, fertile soil and regular watering are required, and fertilization is recommended if growth slows. Suitable for planting in both open and protected soil, as well as on balcony beds, and suitable for "baby leaf" harvesting. Yield is approximately 2 kg per square meter. The leaves of spinach Tuocan have a distinctly pronounced flavor that remains intact even after heat treatment, making this variety versatile for culinary use. It is used in fresh salads, vegetable stews, soups, sauces, and smoothies. Due to its high content of vitamins, proteins, mineral salts, and iron, spinach Tuocan is a valuable source of nutrients and is suitable for both fresh market sales and freezing and processing.
