Bean Natalka

A Reliable Choice for Commodity Production

The Natalka bean variety, developed by the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agriculture of NAAS”, has established itself as a reliable solution for the Ukrainian agricultural market. As a shelling (grain) bean, it is highly valued by growers for its combination of high-quality grain and adaptability to local soil and climatic conditions.

Agrotechnical Profile

Thanks to its bush-type structure and compact height of 40–50 cm, the plant is perfectly suited for modern mechanized harvesting techniques. The growing season, which exceeds 100 days, allows the plant to fully develop quality pods, accumulating maximum nutritional value. Key features include:

• Marketability: The white color of the seeds makes Natalka a preferred variety for food processors, where the appearance of the grain is of paramount importance.
• Harvest efficiency: The lodging-resistant stems significantly simplify machine harvesting.
• Consistency: The variety has been time-tested and demonstrates stable performance across various farms in Ukraine.

Choosing Natalka is a rational decision for farmers seeking a crop with predictable results and steady market demand. The variety does not require complex cultivation conditions, demonstrating resilience to typical environmental stressors found in most regions.
