Bush bean variety Mavka is a medium-maturing grain type with a vegetation period of 85 to 105 days. The indeterminate plants have a trailing apex and grow to a height of 70-80 cm, while the variety is resistant to lodging and diseases, ensuring a reliable harvest. The pods are light yellow, slightly curved, containing 6 white oval seeds with barely visible veins. The white beans have a rich sweet flavor and cook well, making them popular for preparing various dishes. The protein content in the seeds reaches 23%, indicating the high nutritional value of the product.

Variety Mavka is characterized by high yield — up to 1.8-2 kg per square meter or up to 3 tons per hectare, making it attractive for both farmers and home gardeners. The beans are resistant to shattering and suitable for mechanized harvest. For successful cultivation, seeds should be sown in warm, fertile soil at a depth of 3-4 cm, with spacing of 10-12 cm between plants in a row and 40-50 cm between rows. Pre-soaking or germinating seeds, as well as covering the sown area with plastic film, accelerates emergence, which usually occurs within 3-5 days at temperatures of +15 degrees Celsius.

To maintain plant health and increase yield, regular watering is necessary, especially during pod formation (up to twice a week), as well as loosening inter-row spaces 3-4 times per season. Phosphorus-potassium fertilizers are recommended. Thanks to a balanced content of beneficial substances, including calcium and vitamin C, Mavka beans help strengthen bones and improve digestive system function due to their high fiber content. This bean variety is a classic of gardening, combining high quality, resistance, and excellent taste characteristics.
