The «Pulse» parsnip is a result of breeding by the «Mayak» Research Station (IOB NAAS), focused on achieving high-quality yields with excellent storability and tissue density. The variety is designed for professional vegetable farming, where root geometry and mechanical harvesting resistance are the primary success factors.

Root architecture

This variety features a conical root shape, considered the gold standard for automated sorting. The white, dense flesh possesses a rich aroma and low oxidation sensitivity. A key structural advantage of «Pulse» is that the root is almost entirely submerged in the soil, which minimizes the risk of the top turning green under UV light exposure.
