Bean Galaktika

Bush bean variety 'Galaxy' is an ultra-early, high-yielding, and long-storing variety with pronounced resistance to diseases, especially anthracnose and bacterial blight. The plant features large seeds, with 5-6 per pod. Pods are long, reaching up to 15 cm in length, cream-white in color with red-pink streaks, giving the beans a decorative appearance. The seeds are oval, pink with dark spots, possessing a tender, slightly nutty flavor without coarse fibers. Variety 'Galaxy' stands out for its high protein content—up to 27%—making it especially valuable for nutrition. Due to its flavor qualities, the bean is widely used in culinary applications, particularly in salads and borscht. Its versatility allows it to be used in various dishes where the tender flavor and nutritional value of beans are prized. Moreover, 'Galaxy' bean exhibits good storability and resistance to diseases, facilitating storage and increasing yield. These qualities make the variety attractive for both home gardeners and agricultural producers. However, it should be noted that this variety is not suitable for canning, which should be considered when selecting processing and storage methods for the harvest.
