Description Matador
Matador is a systemic insecticide with contact-stomach action, intended for seed treatment of cereal grass crops and potato tubers prior to planting. The active ingredient of the product is imidacloprid at a concentration of 200 g/l, belonging to the neonicotinoid chemical group. The product is available in the form of a liquid concentrate for seed treatment, ensuring ease of application and precise dosing. Matador effectively protects plants from a wide range of pests, including the Colorado beetle and its larvae, wireworms, aphids, thrips, cicadas, moths, ground beetles, fleas, and grain beetles.

The seed treatment provides a long-lasting protective period of up to 45 days, helping to reduce crop losses and improve quality. The product does not accumulate in tubers and vegetables, ensuring consumer safety. The recommended application rates vary depending on the crop: for potatoes, 0.9–1.0 l per ton of tubers with 10–15 l of water; for cereal grasses, 0.75–1.5 l per ton of seeds with 10–12 l of water. Due to low application rates and high efficiency, Matador is an economical and reliable protective agent.

The seed treatment is also used for vegetable crops such as tomatoes, cabbage, eggplants, peppers, as well as for seedlings of fruit and berry crops. The product has a high degree of safety for humans and the environment, classified as risk class 3 by the WHO. Available in various packaging sizes, including 60 ml, 160 ml, 500 ml, 1 l, and 5 l drums, allowing selection of the optimal volume for different scales of agricultural production.
