KWS Eterno winter wheat is a high-yielding hybrid with high resistance to major diseases such as brown leaf rust, rhiophytophthora, powdery mildew, gray mold, yellow rust, and Fusarium head blight. This hybrid exhibits high drought and winter hardiness, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. High tillering intensity and medium growth rate contribute to forming a robust and healthy plant mass, with plant height reaching 110–130 cm. The vegetative period ranges from 280 to 320 days, allowing the hybrid to adapt to different sowing dates and agronomic conditions. KWS Eterno is characterized by high yield, which exceeds previous hybrids by 10% and can reach up to 130 c/ha under intensive cultivation. The 1000-grain weight varies from 33 to 41 grams, and the spike contains a high number of grains, contributing to increased overall yield. Sowing rate depends on sowing time and cultivation purpose: for optimal sowing, 2.0–2.2 million seeds per hectare are recommended; for late sowing — 2.2–2.5 million; and for silage use — 2.7–3.0 million seeds per hectare. Seed depth is 2–3 cm. The hybrid KWS Eterno is versatile and suitable for both bread-making and animal feeding, making it a dual-purpose hybrid. Grain has low protein content and medium to high amylography viscosity, ensuring good raw material quality for the food industry.
