Rye Harvest

Proven performance for challenging conditions

Winter rye variety "Zhatva" is a reliable choice for agronomists prioritizing consistency and field resilience. Developed by the Nosivka Research Station, this variety is specifically adapted to the climatic challenges of Ukraine, ensuring predictable performance even through harsh winter transitions.

Phytosanitary resilience

Managing disease pressure is a constant operational challenge, but "Zhatva" significantly lowers the burden. Its genetic profile offers robust protection against major pathogens:

• High tolerance to snow mold, ensuring excellent winter survival rates;
• Full resistance to brown and stem rust;
• Strong resistance to powdery mildew, allowing for reduced fungicide applications.

Operational efficiency and management

From an operator's perspective, "Zhatva" is a highly efficient crop to manage. Its uniform growth habit and strong lodging resistance simplify combine calibration, leading to cleaner harvests and minimal grain loss. The variety responds well to standard intensive cultivation practices and exhibits high tillering capacity. This aggressive growth habit effectively outcompetes weeds, reducing the reliance on aggressive herbicide programs.

By choosing "Zhatva," you are investing in a low-maintenance, high-stability variety that performs consistently across different soil types. It is an ideal solution for those who need a reliable workhorse that requires minimal field intervention after the winter dormancy period.
