Polí 2 is organic rye grown under ecologically clean conditions, far from large cities and industrial facilities, without the use of mineral fertilizers, pesticides, or insecticides. Thanks to this, the grain retains a high content of iodine, potassium, and fiber, making it beneficial for the digestive, excretory, circulatory, endocrine, protective, and musculoskeletal systems of the body. Rye is suitable for sprouting, as well as for making flour and flakes, expanding its applications in the food industry and household use. To preserve all beneficial properties, it is recommended to store the grain in a dry, dark place at a temperature between +5°C and +18°C for no more than six months.
Seeds of the Polí 2 rye variety exhibit high resistance to adverse conditions, including drought and diseases, ensuring stable yields. The plant is characterized by good winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, allowing it to be grown in various climatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppe, and meadows. Large grains with an oval shape and distinct groove contribute to high seed purity and germination rates, confirmed by figures of approximately 98.2% and 94% respectively.
To enhance germination and protect against pests, seeds are treated with ultraviolet light and ozone. The recommended seeding rate is 160–220 kg/ha, optimal for achieving maximum yield.
