Rice Vals

Field Performance of «Vals» Rice

Selecting seed stock from «Uk National» is a decision based on predictability and consistent agronomic output. The «Vals» variety has established itself as a reliable choice for intensive farming environments. Growers appreciate its uniformity throughout the field, which is a significant factor in streamlining the harvesting process.

Agrotechnical Insights and Harvesting

With a vegetation period of 120–130 days, «Vals» fits perfectly into standard rice production cycles. As a long-grain variety, it is highly sought after by processing facilities for its excellent market quality. During harvesting operations, operators note good threshability, which significantly reduces the percentage of cracked grain in the hopper, thereby improving overall efficiency.

• Grain Type: Long-grain, valued for its high milling yield.
• Maturation Period: 120–130 days.
• Yield: High-yielding potential, contingent upon rigorous water management and nutrient application.

In terms of field management, «Vals» is considered highly adaptable. It responds well to standard herbicide and fertilizer protocols. Experienced operators emphasize that with proper leveling of the fields and precise water depth control, «Vals» demonstrates minimal harvest losses. We advise paying particular attention to irrigation management during the grain-filling stage, as this is the critical window for achieving both grain quality and maximum total yield.
