Topaz is a systemic fungicide designed for the treatment and prevention of fungal diseases on various agricultural crops, including vegetable, fruit-and-berry, and grapevines. The active ingredient is penconazole at a concentration of 100 g/l, belonging to the triazole group. The mechanism of action is based on rapid penetration into the plant and suppression of fungal zoospore growth, preventing disease development and protecting plants from reinfection.
The fungicide effectively combats diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, oidium, coccomycosis, purple spotting, gray mold, fruit rot, and American powdery mildew. The preparation has a long-lasting protective effect — up to two weeks, resistant to washout by rain and high temperatures. Due to its systemic effect, Topaz protects all parts of the plant, providing both curative and preventive action.
Topaz can be used as part of a comprehensive plant protection program, combined with other preparations. It is safe for treated crops and the environment, does not harm plants, and has a toxicity class of III. For optimal results, it is recommended to apply the product at the early stages of disease development.
