Radish Selesta F1

Why Celesta F1 dominates the radish market

For professional vegetable growers, selecting early-maturing radish seeds is a quest for the perfect balance between maturity speed and market appeal. The "Celesta F1" hybrid from Enza Limited is a benchmark in intensive farming, valued for its predictable results even under varying light conditions.

Key advantages

• Yield stability: Roots reach a mass of 20–25g in a record-breaking 20–25 days, allowing for multiple rotations per season.
• Ideal morphology: The perfectly round shape and deep dark-red color make this radish a gold standard for retail, retaining its premium look even after transport.
• Versatility: Unlike many early varieties, Celesta F1 is adapted for spring, summer, autumn, and winter cultivation, making it a reliable tool for continuous production cycles.
• Natural protection: Genetic resistance to downy mildew minimizes the need for chemical treatments, which is critical for short-cycle crops.

With a recommended density of 1.5–2.0 million units per hectare, this hybrid forms a uniform crop, significantly simplifying mechanical harvesting. The primary strength of Celesta compared to its competitors is the absence of pithiness (internal hollows) and high resistance to splitting during moisture fluctuations. For agribusiness, this hybrid minimizes risks by ensuring consistent, high-quality yields regardless of planting dates.
